• Preliminary 3.6-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Hermosa Beach Area, USGS Says (ground.news) — A small earthquake, around magnitude 3.5–3.6, struck off Hermosa Beach on Sunday morning and was felt in Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, and parts of Los Angeles. No damage was reported, but the shaker came just days after recent coastal weather worries, reminding South Bay residents to stay prepared for seismic activity even from relatively minor offshore quakes.
