What is the city's most important issue? Ocean pollution. It would be nice if people in L.A. didn't litter as much. I'd rather get stung by a jellyfish than paddle into a used diaper or fast food bag with the fries still in it—all three have happened. Gross!
If you could change one thing about Manhattan Beach, what would it be? Increase the water temp so I didn't have to wear a wetsuit to surf.

What is your favorite Manhattan Beach memory? Playing guitar and singing songs with my girlfriend on the beach last summer. Too bad the cops kicked us off the lifeguard tower—it was 1 a.m.
Name something you've always wanted to do here but have been
nervous or too busy to try. Throw a party with a live band on the beach by my place in El Porto. I'm not sure the city would let me do it, but it sure would be fun.
Where is your favorite place in town to eat, shop or relax? To eat and relax: Wahoo's Fish Tacos on the patio. To shop: REI's used equipment sale.
Describe Manhattan Beach in three words: Fun, beautiful and friendly.
