• Marin City residents press housing officials over massive Golden Gate Village overhaul (localnewsmatters.org) — Golden Gate Village residents in Marin City are questioning housing officials as a $266 million renovation begins that will temporarily relocate 88 households but promises residents the right to return to their same units. Officials from Marin Housing Authority and Burbank Housing say rents will remain income-based, new appliances and in‑unit laundry are coming, and Section 8 vouchers could expand residents’ future housing choices.
