Small Earthquake Strikes Near Marina del Rey
No damage or injuries were immediately reported.
A magnitude-3.2 earthquake struck near Marina Del Rey tonight and was felt as far as away as Hollywood, but no injuries or damage were immediately reported.
The quake, centered about one mile east-southeast of Marina Del Rey, struck at 8:16 p.m. at a depth of 6.2 miles, according to preliminary data from the U.S. Geological Survey.
There were no immediate reports of injury or damage, but crews were conducting a routine post-quake assessment, said Michael Pittman, dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

A deputy at the sheriff's Marina Del Rey Station said he felt a mild tremor that lasted a second or two.
