Two Injured After Marina del Rey Home Fire
A fire broke out in a Verdi Street home Thursday afternoon.
A man was critically injured in a fire in a Marina del Rey home Thursday and a woman was hospitalized in fair condition.
The fire was reported at 5:32 p.m. in a one-story house at 12418 Verdi St., said the Los Angeles Fire Department's Brian Humphrey. There was heavy smoke showing in the rear of the house.
It took 27 firefighters 14 minutes to knock the fire down, which was confined to the structure.
