Contra Costa County Coroner IDs Man Who Died In I-680 Motorcycle Crash
Anyone who witnessed accident is asked to call CHP.

A motorcyclist who died when he veered into a tree off of Interstate Highway 680 in Alamo on Sunday afternoon was identified today as 36-year-old Daniel Basso of San Ramon, according to the Contra Costa County coroner’s office.
Basso was riding on the Stone Valley Road on-ramp to I-680 at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday when his 2003 Yamaha RS motorcycle left the highway and hit a tree, according to the California Highway Patrol. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The CHP is investigating why Basso lost control of the bike. Any witnesses have been asked to call the CHP’s Contra Costa office at (925) 646-4980.
