Adult Coloring Returns to the Menlo Park Library

On April 27, the coloring books, crayons & pencils will be just for the really big kids.

The Menlo Park Main Library is once again providing an opportunity for some adult coloring & conversation on April 27, with an event it is calling “Adults: In Full Color!” The library is putting on the music, providing coffee & tea, and laying out coloring pages & tools, and participants are invited to bring along friends, or just make new ones, as they try their hand on coloring at the library.

More and more adults have returned to coloring over the last year or so; adults who spend time coloring say that they experience reduced stress & anxiety, a sharpened focus, and a boost in creative thought. In 2015, many of Amazon.com’s best-selling titles were coloring books made just for grown-ups.
