About Menlo Park City School District
Menlo Park City School District (MPCSD) is a public preschool through 8th grade school district, serving approximately 3000 students, and their families, from Menlo Park, Atherton, and East Palo Alto. Our vision is that every child is engaging, achieving, and thriving. We are a community working together to inspire high academic achievement among all students, serve their needs, challenge their minds, and enrich their lives. We strive to prepare students for success and participation in our democratic society and as citizens of the world. To find out more about our district and our schools - the Early Learning Center, Encinal Elementary, Laurel Elementary, Oak Knoll Elementary, and Hillview Middle - please visit our website at mpcsd.org.
Our Superintendent Erik Burmeister writes a monthly blog about education, parenting, and community issues at mpcsdsupson.com.
We host a Speaker Series with notable authors, movie screenings, and experts in various education and family issues. The public is welcome to attend these free events at Hillview Middle School. Find out more at mpcsdspeakerseries.com.
