Free Harp Performance March 16

Menlo Park Library Hosts Concert with Krista Strader

On March 16, the Menlo Park Library will host a free performance by harpist Krista Strader.


Classically trained from age four, Krista Strader graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance from Biola University, where she was awarded the Outstanding String Musician Honor for two consecutive years. An orchestral and solo harpist, Krista combines thirty-two years of playing the harp with her experience gained from nearly twenty years as a full-time professional.


Krista has performed for international royalty, Hollywood celebrities, and government dignitaries. She has performed with TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, Oakland East Bay Symphony, Sacramento Metropolitan Orchestra, Disney Entertainment, All-American Boys Chorus, and Napa Valley Symphony.

Strader’s premiere recording, entitled The Journey, is a collection of Celtic and popular melodies performed on the Celtic harp.


When not performing at public & private events, Krista Strader teaches private lessons at her harp studio in Pleasant Hill.

The event will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16 at the Main Library at 800 Alma Street. The performance is free, thanks to contributions to the Friends of the Menlo Park Library. No preregistration is necessary to attend.
