Menlo Park Martial Arts School Gets Anti-Bullying Award!
Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park received an award from the City for it's Anti-Bullying efforts!
The instructors at Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park are often approached about what to do about bullying. Bullying has become an real problem in our schools and playgrounds. Did you know that they offer FREE workshops on bullying? The City of Menlo Park just awarded them a Certificate of Recognition for their “Outstanding Efforts Toward the Anti-Bullying Campaign!”
Their workshops are a huge way to help parents and their children. 44% of our kids are, or have been, bullied at school. These workshops can help them! Each one of the workshops will discuss different aspects of what to do about bullying, how to avoid it, how to help if you see someone else being bullied, etc. They have a presentation combined with role-play and Q&A. This is for kids ages 6-16 and should be attended with their parents (optional for kids ages 10+). Only 12 spaces are available for each workshop, so grab yours now! Each workshop will be on a Friday from 6:30-7:30pm in the Oak room at the Arrillaga Rec Center. Follow the links after each session to register.
