Menlo Park's Memorial Day Weekend Forecast: Warming Trend Coming

MENLO PARK, CA — Though Friday was predicted to be "unseasonably cool" with scattered showers, Peninsula residents and visitors can expect a warming trend to kick in this holiday weekend, forecasters said. High pressure is expected to build in the region, leading to warmer temperatures on Sunday through Tuesday especially.

A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 67. South southwest wind 5 to 13 mph becoming northeast in the morning. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50. Southwest wind 7 to 14 mph becoming west northwest in the evening.

Saturday
Partly sunny, with a high near 67. West wind 8 to 14 mph.

Saturday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 49. West wind 5 to 14 mph becoming south southwest in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph.

Sunday
Sunny, with a high near 76. Light and variable wind becoming west northwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Mostly clear, with a low around 52.

Sunny, with a high near 79.

Mostly clear, with a low around 53.
