• 'Dangerous' Suspect In Custody After Fleeing And Jumping Into Bay: Police (patch.com) — A coordinated response involving the Menlo Park Fire Protection District, San Mateo County sheriff's deputies, East Palo Alto police, and CHP brought a reportedly dangerous suspect into custody after he fled officers and jumped into San Francisco Bay near Cooley Landing. A Menlo Park fire boat helped pull the man from the water as a helicopter and K-9 teams secured the shoreline.
