Science Night at Menlo Park Library to Include Planetary Theater

Free event for adults, teens & elementary schoolers will include Chabot Space & Science Center, and the Marine Science Institute

On Thursday, November 5, the Menlo Park Library will be hosting a Science Night for adults, teens, and elementary school-aged children, to feature guests including the Chabot Space & Science Center and the Marine Science Institute.

The Chabot Space & Science Center will be presenting its “Chabot to Go” program, featuring tabletop activities & demos, and the Cosmic Ray Planetary Theater, an inflatable indoor planetarium with several 15-minute star shows throughout the evening.

The Marine Science Institute will help visitors get in touch with some life science, as it presents sea life fun facts, rocky shore & tide pool touching, and shark artifacts.

Also on hand will be TechyKids, offering a robotics demonstration.

Attendees will be able to visit the various demonstration tables at their own pace. More surprises are in the works, in this special event funded by the Friends of the Menlo Park Library.
