Speech and Debate Summer Camps for 3-5 Grade Students

Young Genius, Bay Area Debate Academy located in the heart of Silicon Valley, next to beautiful Saratoga hills, is offering summer camps for elementary school students, where students will learn high school formats of debate and speech as well as improve their critical thinking, writing and speaking abilities.
Camps are weekly, Monday through Friday, 9:10am - 12:10pm:

August 8-August 12, 2016

During each week camp students will be introduced to Congressional debate, a high school debate format which is the easiest to master. We offer it as an introductory course for students with no prior experience in debate. Students will learn research, persuasive writing and speaking, active listening, and critical thinking. Accurate and extensive note taking and cross examination skills are all integral to the course. Students will also be introduced to various speech events.
