Companies Leaving California In Record Numbers

The OCRegister reported that 254 California businesses uprooted and moved elsewhere in 2011. The pace only been accelerating to almost 5 businesses leaving the state every week.

Do people still think that raising taxes and enacting more regulations are in order?

760 laws went through in 2011 during a down economy with many more on the way in 2012. Among them, funding for the bullet train. Isn't there any sanity out there to say, we just don't have the money for it now. There are so many associated societal costs with the enforcement of every single new statue out there.

One thing I can guarantee is that they definitely will be not enough if this mass exodus of companies and jobs continues in California... and continues to accelerate.

When will someone in Sacramento get a clue honestly and stop looking at the California taxpayer as an unlimited ATM machine for every pipe dream they can imagine. It's time for some fiscally responsible spending.
