Beginning and Intermediat Chen Tai Chi

Wednesday evenings this fall, join instructor Peter Poon at the Millbrae Community Center for an 18-and-up Chen Tai Chi class.

The Chen style of Tai Chi is widely acknowledged as the ancestor of all other styles. This class introduces the 48 Chen style Taijiquan form, basic silk reeling and Wuji Qigong exercises. The forms are the foundation which will help students to cultivate internal energy. Basic meditation will be taught and practiced, and students will improve their immune system, reduce their physical and mental stress as well as develop strength and coordination. Peter Poon has over 5 years of experience and is in direct lineage from the Chen family of Taijiquan.
