Home, Business Burglarized in Nearby San Bruno
Cash and jewelry were swiped from the residence over the weekend, and money was stolen today from the business, police said. [BREAKING]

SAN BRUNO, CA β Cash and jewelry were taken from a San Bruno home on Saturday night, and cash was stolen after a business break-in this morning, police said.
Officers responded at 9:20 p.m. Saturday to the home burglary report in the Skycrest Circle neighborhood near the intersection of San Bruno Avenue West and Glenview Drive.
An investigation revealed that one or more suspects forced open the front door of the home between 4:15 p.m. and 9:15 p.m., according to police.

And this morning, Monday, at approximately 3:23 a.m., San Bruno police responded to the 200 block of El Camino Real following a report of an open door at a business.
Officers found the door was forced open, and despite a search of the building and area, no suspects were found, the agency said. An undisclosed amount of currency was taken.

The San Bruno Police Department encourages all residents and business owners to remain vigilant, and immediately report suspicious persons or vehicles in their neighborhoods.
"Alert neighbors provide the biggest help to police in solving these crimes," the department said. "Please immediately report any suspicious activity to the Police Department by calling 911."
