One Burned In Peninsula House Fire
Fire officials say the resident also suffered from smoke inhalation.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA β A Pacifica resident was hospitalized over the weekend after a fire broke out in their home, fire officials report. The blaze happened just before noon on Saturday in the 1200 block of Aspen Drive.
"The first arriving fire company found smoke coming from the front of a single story, split level, single family home," the North County Fire Authority said in a news release. "Firefighters entered the home and using hose lines were able to contain the fire to the front living room area, with smoke damage throughout the rest of the home."
Before crews got to the scene, an adult who lives at the house tried to extinguish the blaze, the fire authority said. In doing so, that person suffered smoke inhalation and minor burns.
