• 4th Annual Indie Author Fest 2026 + Book Fair (Millbrae Public Library) (funcheap.com) — Millbrae residents can dive into a free, all-ages Indie Author Fest at the Millbrae Library on Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You'll find a book fair, publishing presentation, indie author panel, and even speed-friending for writing partners, all aimed at connecting local readers and writers and helping you discover new stories and creative inspiration. 
• T&T Asian Market's SF Location at Geary and Masonic to Open November 5 (sfist.com) — A major Asian grocery chain is eyeing Millbrae for a new T&T Supermarket, but construction delays mean the store in the former Lucky site likely won't open until summer or fall 2027. While San Francisco gets its T&T this November, Millbrae residents will need to wait longer for the expanded Asian grocery and prepared-food options.
