Police Release Photos, Video of Suspected Hit-and-Run Silver Sedan

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA β A 70-year-old woman is in critical condition following a hit-and-run collision Sunday afternoon in South San Francisco, police said.
The collision occurred at about 1 p.m. on Memorial Drive.
The senior was crossing the road in a crosswalk when struck by a silver compact car. Police said she was walking home after shopping at a local market. She is in critical condition at a trauma hospital with life-threatening injuries at this time.

Investigators released photos of a possible suspect vehicle that were captured on a nearby video-surveillance system. The vehicle appears to be similar to a Honda Civic or Toyota Camry, four-door and with damage to the lower front-end area, police said.
The last known direction for the suspect was along Myrtle Avenue at South Spruce Avenue in South San Francisco, police said, adding that the car was driven by a motorist who was wearing a white, long-
sleeve garment.
