• Report: Marin school attendance down 2% overall (marinij.com) — Mill Valley families will notice their school district is one of the few in Marin seeing enrollment growth, with attendance up 3% even as the county overall drops 2%. A new report from the county education office shows most districts losing students, especially San Rafael, Novato, and Tamalpais Union, raising budget concerns for state-funded systems while basic-aid districts adjust programs and staffing to smaller rolls.
