Liberated Pure Land Buddhist Ethics seminar series

The Buddhist Temple of Marin Sangha presents a three-part seminar series on Liberated Pure Land Buddhist Ethics with Rev CJ Sokugan Dunford, Doctor of Ministry, beginning Sunday, Oct. 11, at 1pm. All sessions take place on-site at the temple, and live-streamed via Zoom. Suggested donation for the series is $20.

The first session examines systems theory and the problem of individualism in ethics, the Nov. 15 session is on liberation theology and history and Buddhist reflections, and the final session on Dec. 13 looks at ethical praxis, theory living as practice. Rev CJ (they/them/theirs) currently serves as assistant minister at the Buddhist Temple of Marin and Berkeley Buddhist Temple.
