Authorities Seek Witnesses In Fatal Marin City Shooting
It was reported there were several witnesses to the shooting, but so far, no firsthand witnesses have come forward, officials said.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — Authorities continue to seek witnesses to last month's fatal shooting in Marin City.
As of Tuesday, there were still no firsthand witnesses in the case, Marin County sheriff's Sgt. Brenton Schneider said.
Sheriff's deputies responded to calls of a shooting around 8 p.m. July 14 in the 400 block of Drake Avenue in unincorporated Marin City.

Authorities found an unresponsive man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man, who was later identified as 42-year-old Tiyon Ford of Marin City, was taken to a hospital where he died, officials said.
The deadly shooting remains under investigation. It was reported there were several witnesses to the shooting, but so far, no firsthand witnesses have come forward, Schneider said.
