8 Injured In Crash Near Mill Valley
Eight people were injured after a crash in the parking lot of an In-N-Out in unincorporated Marin County, officials said.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – Eight people were injured, including two critically, when a pickup truck veered off of Highway 101, crashed through a chain-link fence and struck six vehicles in the parking lot of an In-N-Out restaurant in unincorporated Marin County Tuesday afternoon, authorities reported.
The crash happened around 2:25 p.m. at the fast food restaurant at 798 Redwood Highway in the Strawberry Village Shopping Center near Mill Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred when the pickup driver, a man in his 50s or 60s, was heading north on the highway in a green GMC Sierra. The driver then somehow lost control, crashed through the fence, then across Redwood Highway and into the parking lot, according to CHP Officer Andrew Barclay.

The driver, who might have suffered a medical emergency, and a pregnant woman in one of the vehicles in the parking lot were critically injured, Barclay said.
Four of the vehicles were parked and two were moving when they were stuck, Barclay said.

The crash caused delays on Highway 101. Officials advised motorists to avoid Redwood Highway.
