Drug Dealers Caught, Arrested In Marin Neighborhood, Police Say

The Marin County Major Crimes Task Force says they initiated a narcotics investigation that resulted in the seizure of meth and heroin.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — A Marin County sheriff's task force recently busted a drug dealing operation in the region, thanks to tips from the community about suspicious behavior, according to the agency. Marin County sheriff's officials say the operation was brought to their attention after a local politician solicited community feedback.

According to a post on the Marin County Sheriff's Office's Facebook page, Supervisor Katie Rice recently held a community meeting for the Lomita Park neighborhood to discuss quality of life issues with residents.

Residents expressed concern about a vehicle parked in the neighborhood that had a significant number of visitors through all hours of the day. The visitors would only stay a short time, indicating that there was possible drug dealing taking place.
