Hundreds March Peacefully In Marin City Over George Floyd's Death
Hundreds of protestors peacefully marched through Marin City Tuesday over the death of George Floyd.

MARIN CITY, CA — Hundreds of protestors peacefully marched in Marin City Tuesday over the death of George Floyd.
The march started in the parking lot of Ross in the Marin Gateway Shopping Center. Demonstrators of all ages marched through the intersection of Drake Avenue and Donahue Street.
Community speakers spoke to the crowd, which included families, near St. Andrew Presbyterian Church.

"It was a very special afternoon," participant Anne Morgan wrote on Twitter. "Felt like a privilege to be in attendance. Marin City is a proud and beautiful community"
"Grateful for a peaceful, well-attended protest in Marin City this afternoon," Becky Demands wrote.

Floyd died Memorial Day in Minneapolis after being taken into police custody. His death has sparked protests and civil unrest in cities across the country.
