Orange And Red Skies Blanket Marin, Bay Area: Photos Of The Day

Patch loves photos! Share your photos with Patch and your work could be featured.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — Patch reader Michael J. Hraba captured these photos earlier this month of the orange and red skies that blanketed Marin County and the rest of the San Francisco Bay Area due to smoke from the wildfires that have devastated the state.

"The 'orange' photos have zero post-editing, and were simply snapped on a mirrorless Sony Nex-6 on the 'sunset' mode," he explained. "The less orange were simply normal mode — which cameras can't catch — or cell phone shots."
