View & Weigh In On Region's Future: Open House For Marin Co. Residents Is Saturday

Government officials from Bay Area will share the "Plan Bay Area 2040" focus and be asking for your two cents!

BAY AREA, CA – Government planners from the Bay Area have four remaining open houses, including one on Saturday in Mill Valley, for citizens to learn about and give feedback on "Plan Bay Area 2040," the region’s long-range transportation and housing roadmap.

Plan Bay Area is a state-mandated, integrated long-range transportation, land-use and housing plan with a mission to support a growing economy, provide more housing and transportation choices and reduce transportation-related pollution in the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area while planning for the region's expected 2 million new residents by the year 2035.

Open houses will be held in all nine Bay Area counties by May 22.
