Woman Arrested While Sleeping in Stolen Car in Sausalito: Police

SAUSALITO, CA — A woman with addresses in San Francisco and Santa Rosa was arrested Sunday morning in Sausalito on suspicion of several offenses including possessing a stolen vehicle, police said.
At about 7:40 p.m. officers saw a Ford Flex parked in the 400 block of Bridgeway. Police said the Ford was parked facing in the wrong direction and a person appeared to be asleep in the SUV.
Two officers checked the records on the Ford and found that it had been reported stolen on Thursday out of Daly City, police said.

The officers contacted 25-year-old Shellisa Green and searched her and the Ford. Police said Green was carrying drug paraphernalia and records that she was wanted on a no bail felony warrant out of Sonoma County.
Police said they arrested Green for possessing a stolen vehicle, possessing drug paraphernalia and the warrant.

Green was taken to the county jail, where, according to records, she remained Monday in lieu of $25,000 bail.
