BREAKING: The suspect allegedly tried the rob the same bank wearing the same mask as the one used in November.

MILPITAS, CA — Milpitas Police have arrested a suspect in the Nov. 5 robbery of the Chase Bank branch on South Park Victoria Drive. San Jose resident Thomas Johnson Davis, 22, was arrested after police say he attempted to rob the same bank on Jan. 6.

Police say that Davis wore a “Guy Fawkes” mask during the November robbery.

Milpitas Police Lt. Raj Maharaj said in a written statement that on Jan. 6 "a man wearing a 'Guy Fawkes' mask was walking towards the same Chase Bank but was confronted by a maintenance man prior to entering the bank. The man fled the area on foot and was located running on Dempsey Road by a Milpitas Police officer responding to the scene. A short foot chase ensued and the man was eventually taken into custody after he ran into a business and attempted to destroy the robbery demand note."
