Milpitas Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested In Sunnyvale
The 7-11 robbery happened in July.
From the Milpitas Police Department: On Friday, July 21, 2017, at approximately 3:37 A.M., Milpitas Police Officers responded to a 7-Eleven Store, located at 596 North Abel Street, on a report of an armed robbery. The suspect, who was described as a dark-skinned male adult, approximately 5'-09" tall, wearing a black hoodie, dark pants, and black shoes entered the 7-Eleven with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect fled from the store with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen running towards a residential area. Officers arrived on scene, within a minute and a half, however were unable to locate the suspect.
On Friday, August 25, 2017, at approximately 2:14 P.M., the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety arrested Deonje Khari Webb for a robbery which occurred in their jurisdiction. Webb also matched the suspect description of the 7-Eleven robbery incident in Milpitas. Milpitas Police detectives responded to the City of Sunnyvale and interviewed Webb regarding the 7-11 robbery. At the conclusion of the interview and investigation, Deonje Khari Webb was positively identified as the suspect responsible for the Milpitas 7-11 robbery. He was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for armed robbery.
