
MILPITAS, CA — Police in Milpitas on Wednesday arrested two suspects in connection with a stolen vehicle.
Josephine Nicole Carrillo, 29, of Sunnyvale, was arrested on suspicion of automobile theft, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of burglary tools, misappropriation of property and driving on a suspended
license, police said.
Steven Benjamin Rodriguez, 21, of Mountain View, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, misappropriation of property probation violation and on an
outstanding warrant, according to police.

On Wednesday at 11:38 p.m. a Milpitas police officer saw a Honda Civic reported stolen out of San Jose on Monday traveling west on Calaveras Boulevard.
Officers pulled over the vehicle, and a rear passenger immediately jumped out of the vehicle and fled, police said.

That passenger was not located.
The driver, identified as Carrillo, and another passenger, identified as Rodriguez, were taken into custody, according to police.
Officers searched the car and inside located a shaved key, personal items belonging to other people and a small baggie containing hydrocodone pills, police said.
