Milpitas Police Arrest 4 Suspects on ID Theft and Drug Charges

Police seized a credit card embosser, multiple printers, a laminator, and fictitious driver licenses.

MILPITAS, CA — Milpitas Police arrested four suspects on identity theft and drug charges.

Police received a report on Sept. 8 of suspicious individuals carrying large bags and walking back and forth between a hotel lobby and three cars in the parking lot.

According to Milpitas Police Sgt. Matthew Miller, "Officers saw a female, later identified as Holly Mikaele, standing next to a black 2001 Lexus with the driver’s side door and trunk open in the parking lot. A male, later identified as Ngaoi Nguyen, was seen walking back and forth between the Lexus and a gray 2005 Mercedes that drove out of the parking lot."

Mikaele was on probation from Alameda County. Nguyen was on probation from Alameda County and had a felony arrest warrant from Alameda County for identity theft.

A search of the Lexus Mikaele was seen standing next to turned up fictitious driver licenses with Mikaele’s image and an address of a victim in El Sobrante, papers containing personal biographical information for other individuals, and methamphetamine.

Officers searched a silver 2001 BMW belonging to Nguyen and located a credit card embosser, multiple printers, a laminator, and fictitious driver licenses containing personal biographical information for several other people.

According to Sgt. Miller, "The gray 2005 Mercedes returned to the area of the hotel, and officers contacted the driver, later identified as Kim Luu, and the front passenger, later identified as Arnold Batuyong. Luu had three misdemeanor warrants for his arrest from Santa Clara County for narcotic related offenses. Batuyong was on probation from Alameda County and had a fictitious California driver license."

Officers searched the Mercedes and found methamphetamine, empty plastic baggies, and drug paraphernalia. Luu possessed methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

All four have been booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.
