Milpitas Police Arrest Alleged Motorcycle Thief
The suspect was found at a motel on Main Street.

MILPITAS, CA — A 28-year-old Campbell resident was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of possession of a stolen motorcycle, according to Milpitas police.
An officer spotted the 2008 Honda CBR 600 at 11:38 p.m. in the parking lot of the Americas Best Value Inn at 485 S. Main St. After the license plate number revealed that it was reported stolen out of San Jose on Sunday, officers contacted a man as he was getting onto the bike.
The man was identified as Andrew Lamar, who was on active parole for burglary and had a felony arrest warrant for burglary. Officers found that he was in possession of a screwdriver used to start the motorcycle.

Lamar was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of burglary tools, violation of his parole, and the warrant.
