Milpitas Woman Identified as Crash Victim
Just 18 years old, the victim was killed when her vehicle rolled over and hit a pole.

MILPITAS, CA - A woman killed in a car crash over the weekend in Milpitas has been identified as 18 year old Adriana Gonzalez, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office. Gonzalez, a Milpitas resident, was driving a 2007 Nissan Quest on northbound North McCarthy Boulevard south of Dixon Landing Road just before 4 p.m. Saturday, police Lt. Henry Kwong said.
She drove off the road, then crashed into a curb and streetlight before the vehicle went down a slight embankment, Kwong said.
Responding officers found the minivan and Gonzalez, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Kwong.

Investigators haven't determined if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash, he said.
Officers interviewed witnesses at the scene and are looking to speak with anyone else who saw the crash or the van before it went off the road, Kwong said.
