Milpitas: Single-family home sells for $2.4 million (mercurynews.com) — A Milpitas single-family home on Calle del Prado recently sold for about $2.36 million, highlighting rising neighborhood prices. The three-bedroom, two-bath house joins several other nearby Milpitas properties that closed this summer, giving residents a snapshot of current local home values and how much similar-sized houses are fetching right now.
   

5. 17-year-old Sanaah Pande's nonprofit has provided $100,000 in free dental care to veterans (milpitasbeat.com) — A teen‑led nonprofit called HopeWorks, based in Milpitas, has already provided more than $100,000 in free dental care to veterans, including a recent $15,000 clinic day at Milpitas Smile Design.
