Regal Bird At The National Wildlife Refuge: Photo Of The Week
Look at the plumage on this gorgeous bird.

ALVISO, CA — This stunning photo of a shore bird was snapped by Laura Ragsdale at Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Alviso. If a Patch reader can identify this bird, please tell us in comment section below this story.
The refuge has visitor centers in both Alviso and Fremont, and miles of trails and boardwalks. The visitor centers are closed and programs have been canceled for now because of shelter in place orders in Santa Clara and Alameda counties.
