SJSU Meteorology Students Part Of National Eclipse Monitoring Project
While most Americans are gazing at the sky in awe, students will be studying the impact of the eclipse.

SAN JOSE, CA - San Jose State University meteorology students will be partnering with students at 13 universities in the United States to study the effects of next Monday's solar eclipse in the atmosphere.
The Solar Eclipse Radiosonde Project will have SJSU students teaming with students from Oregon Coast Community College in Newport Oregon on Monday, Aug. 21.
They'll release eight weather balloons with radiosonde devices that will measure air temperature, air pressure, moisture and winds.
