Two Sons Arrested For Alleged Murder Of Parents In San Jose

The sons of a married couple found fatally shot at a home in San Jose's Evergreen neighborhood Sunday afternoon were arrested Wednesday.

SAN JOSE - The sons of a married couple found fatally shot at a home in San Jose's Evergreen neighborhood Sunday afternoon were arrested Wednesday in connection with their parents' deaths, police said.

Hasib Bin Golamrabbi, 22, and his 17-year-old brother are suspects in the deaths of Golam and Shamima Rabbi, police said.

Golam Rabbi, 59, and Shamima Rabbi, 57, were found shot at a home in the 3000 block of Lucas Court, where officers responded to a report of suspicious circumstances around 1:45 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Responding officers found the husband and wife were both shot at least once. The pair was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Police initially said Golamrabbi was not a suspect in the case and sought to question him, but over the course of the investigation suspected he played a role in the fatal shootings.

The 22-year-old man was found in Tracy and has been booked into Santa Clara County Jail, where he is being held without bail, according to police.

The teenage brother who had spoken with investigators earlier in the week was later identified as a suspect and was arrested Wednesday, police said.

The 17-year-old boy is being held in Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall, police said.

There are no other suspects in the case, according to police.
