Police this morning in Milpitas are looking for a missing at-risk man.
Police said Leonard John Paz, 31, of Milpitas, was last seen Thursday night around 9:45 p.m. when he left his residence and went for a walk. His family reported him missing at 11:45 p.m. when he did not return home.
Paz is diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic, has bi-polar disorder and has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old, according to police. He has not taken his medication and does not have it on him.
He is described as a Hispanic man, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 280 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt and gray pants.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Milpitas Police Department at (408) 586-2400 or their local law enforcement agency.
