12 Puppies Taken From Overcrowded Shelter Ready For Adoption In OC

A dozen puppies are looking for new homes in Orange County, thanks to the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center and nonprofit DAWG.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Twelve adorable puppies just found a temporary home at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center after being taken from a shelter in Riverside due to overcrowding.

The puppies are between two and four months old and include Labrador mixes, German Shepherd mixes, Australian cattle dogs and little brown dogs.

According to the center, the puppies were taken from the inland empire to Orange County due to overcrowding at the counter shelter in Riverside.

Residents can visit the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center to meet the new pups as a part of the "A Mission For Home" program, funded by the Dedicated Animal Welfare Group.
