Composting is a resourceful way to recycle the food scraps and yard trim folks generate at home and manage their waste more sustainably.

Residents can learn how to turn their yard and food waste into organic fertilizer through traditional composting or vermi-composting. Compost and vermi-composting containers will be available for Mission Viejo residents to purchase or order at a significant discount. The workshop will be between an hour to an hour and 30 minutes.
