Mission Viejo To Host National Night Out On July 31
With entertainment, eco-conscious features, and plenty of ways to engage, Mission Viejo's National Night Out promises a memorable evening.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Mission Viejo is gearing up for an evening of family-friendly fun and community connection as it celebrates National Night Out on Thursday, July 31.
The annual event, aimed at strengthening neighborhood bonds and promoting public safety partnerships, will feature a splashy lineup of festivities — including the return of fan favorites and a few new surprises.
It is hosted by Mission Viejo Police Services and will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at Marty Russo Youth Athletic Park, 22056 Olympiad Rd.

Hourly raffles will take place at 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., giving attendees the chance to score prizes. Guests who bring a refillable water bottle will earn an extra raffle ticket — a nod to the city’s commitment to sustainability.
To help everyone stay hydrated while going green, Mission Viejo’s own “Water Monster” will be stationed onsite to refill bottles and reduce single-use waste.

One of the night’s most popular attractions is also making a comeback: the dunk tank. Locals will have the chance to dunk principals and teachers from Saddleback and Capistrano Unified School Districts, offering laughs and some light-hearted revenge before the new school year.
