Oso Fit 5K Fun Run Returns To Mission Viejo: How To Register
Mission Viejo residents who sign up for the 5K will have 100 percent of their registration fee donated to a nonprofit of their choice.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Registration for the City of Mission Viejo's Oso Fit 5K Fun Run and Children's Races has opened, and Mission Viejo residents of all ages are encouraged to come out and be a part of the effort Feb. 25.
The 5K Fun Run takes place along Oso Creek Trail, and residents who participate in the event will have 100 percent of their pre-registration fee go toward a nonprofit of their choice.
The event will also feature a Kid's Run hosted by Children's Cerebral Palsy Movement and Spirit League. The course is appropriate for children of all abilities and features quarter- and half-mile races.

Residents who attend the event can also stop by the Community Health Fair, where a wide variety of health screenings will be available including blood pressure, glucose, pulmonary function (lung function), EKG (heart rhythm), grip strength, body mass index and more. No ticket is required to enter the health fair.
The Fun Run is hosted by the city in partnership with the Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce, and is designed to support both the community and local nonprofits.

To be a part of the event, residents can take advantage of early registration until 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17. Residents who register before then will receive an event T-shirt and discounted fee.
The Oso Fit 5K Fun Run and Children's Races take place Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Oso Creek Trail from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., with adult races starting at 8:30 a.m. and children's races starting at 9:30 a.m.
