Trash Fire Burns At Beebee Park In Mission Viejo
Mission Viejo Police Services and OCFA rushed to the aid of a garbage truck driver when his truck caught fire, Tuesday.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A flaming pile of trash was extinguished at Beebe Park in Mission Viejo, Tuesday.
As a trash truck was collecting in the area of Beebe Park midday Tuesday, the driver noticed the contents in his bin had caught fire.
The driver called for assistance and dumped the garbage upon the vacant lot. There, arriving Orange County Fire Authority firefighters doused the blaze.

The parking lot was expected to remain closed until 2 p.m.
No cause of the fire has been released.

"Thank you OCFA for your quick response," Mission Viejo Police Services said of the incident.
