Big Bad Jazz Band Concert

Glendale Community College’s Big Bad Jazz Band will perform in concert on Sunday, June 9 at 4 p.m. in the Auditorium.             
Craig Kupka is director of the band.  The concert will feature two vocalists and guest artist Dave Wells.  Wells will conduct four of his own arrangements.  The GCC band will honor the seminal big band jazz album recorded by Buddy Rich and his band in 1967, “Big Swing Face,” and perform five classic arrangements from that album.   Tickets are $10 general admission and $7 for students and seniors.
