Senstad’s Eagle Scout project took place at Haramokngna American Indian Cultural Center in the Angeles National Forest where he coordinated the construction of a concrete and lumber wall around the site where Togvan Native American ceremonies take place. Also added to the project was a level walking path to allow for handicap access. Native plants were planted around the ceremonial sites. The project was completed over four weekends last fall.
The Allen Lund Company, Ganahl Lumber, Beanca Gems, and several other private donors contributed to the project. The American Indian Cultural Center has become a destination for many to learn more about the history of the five regional California Indian tribes while enjoying outdoor scenery and trails.
