Volunteers Wanted to Host Lemonade Stands for Cancer Research
An easy way to volunteer and raise money for cancer research this summer.
If your child has ever stood behind a summer lemonade stand selling cups to friends and neighbors, consider having them participate in Lemonade Days, an annual June fundraising effort that raises money for cancer research.
Volunteers are needed to host a lemonade stand in the neighborhood any time between June 10 and 12. All proceeds will go toward Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and childhood cancer research. To date, more than $40 million has been raised through the efforts of volunteers.

Lemonade Days was started in 2004 by pediatric cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott, who dreamed of raising $1 million for childhood cancer research through her lemonade stand. Her single stand turned into a nationwide movement, with volunteers manning their own stands around the country. Alex passed away later that summer, but her legacy lives on through Lemonade Days.
