PALMDALE — A big rig flipped onto its side Friday morning in Palmdale and set loose some of the more than 150 cows it was hauling, prompting a scramble as deputies, firefighters and animal control workers worked to corral the bovines.
The crash happened at about 11:15 a.m. at a roundabout at East Palmdale Boulevard and 47th Street, according to a sheriff's deputy.
Even a few local ranchers pitched in to help rustle up the doggies, the deputy said.
