Armed Forces Day BBQ in Moorpark
The American Legion Family in Moorpark will be honoring those who serve and have served in the Armed Forces by way of a barbecue at the park.
To celebrate Armed Forces Day, Members of Moorpark Post 502 will be hosting a barbecue this Saturday at for veterans, active duty, reserve military and their families as a token of appreciation for those who serve and have served.
The men and women of The American Legion Family in Moorpark will be cooking up hamburgers and hot dogs. Soda, chips and desserts will also be served.
Legionnaires and auxiliary members either have served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces or have family members that have. Because of their close association and understanding of the perils of service in the military, they feel compelled compelled to help make that burden, if only slightly, a little less burdensome and offer any support.
